Before I get a flood of comments, I got permission from the mods to ask this. Ok, for the past few weeks, I have been selling items I have been clearing out of my boxes ( Mostly Doujinshi, a few yaoi manga, and other goods) and I had inquiries from people living in Australia about the Doujinshi and Yaoi Manga. I need to know about how Australia and New Zealand laws are in regards to importing yaoi doujinshi and manga? I have seen news items at ANN and I figured since this community has members from both countries, you can provide some insight. Here's the link if you wish to see what items I am selling: http://fleeingbynight.livejournal.com/6196.htmlThanks in advance for some insight.

Welcome, one and all, to Surf's Up!, a regular discussion of sorts to deliver our much needed weekly dose of Australia. The original concept for this has been derived from Hamburger Street's Spam Friday, albeit with a few adjustments. I'd like to thank the awesome sillyputtie for giving her consent to adapt the idea! If this is your first time stumbling upon this, here are the stipulations:
★ Please feel free to divert from the topic at hand. It's just an ice-breaker; think of it as a conversation starter. Treat this little event as a weekly congregation of sorts. While it's great that you'd stick to the specified subject matter, please feel free to jump from one topic to another. Your posts can consist of anything. Anything at all. Snippets, doodles, picspams, writings, random musings, day-to-day events? Post it! Definitely a bigger bonus if it's Australia-related. Just let your wild side loose! ★ Sparking a healthy debate or conversation remains to be appropriate. No bashing, flaming, or any other overly aggressive behavior will be tolerated. It's already in the original community rules found here, so this doesn't really need to be stated for a second time. Just stay chill and civil, guys. We're already quite smaller compared to other communities, so no inner strife, okay? ★ Feel free to strike up a conversation with anyone about anything! This is a great avenue to get to know your fellow Australia fans, so don't be shy. Again, the topics don't necessarily need to revolve around Australia. Be your natural quirky selves! ★ No serious Australia hating, if you please. Yeah. ★ Have fun! ★ If you have any Surf's Up! topics you wish to discuss, throw me a bone! I'm slowly running out of ideas. ★ Original art used for the current banner was created by chocorococo , which is found over here! Used with permission.
This week's topic:
How would Australia fare in a zombie apocalypse scenario? (Or in any other AU that you can think of!)

Ever since Himaruya released the alternative/2P colors for most of the main characters, the fandom took up the notion that the 2P!characters are darker, more evil versions of the originals. So, what do you think 2P!Australia is like?

Title: Tangerines That Are Bitter Author: SandfordStreet Rating: R Character(s)/Pairing(s): Australia, Denmark, America, Britain, Canada, New Zealand, Wy and other nations (plus OC) Warnings: Violence, Alcoholism, Strong Language, Drama, Angst, Mpreg Summary: In the aftermath of a drunken one-nightstand, Australia finds himself inexplicably in a predicament that he doesn't know how to handle or comprehend. Time Frame: Present Day Naples, like many other cities across Mezzogiorno, puts on a convincing mask of content and goes about today with a positive attitude.
Of course, the definition of 'positive' varies among speakers…

Artists: Various - each of them are accredited with their respective pieces. I do NOT claim these as my own - all of the credit and awesomeness goes to the individual artists. Rating: T Warning/s: Speedos galore and implied sex! Other Characters/Pairings: Germany, America, with a blatant America/Australia bias. Summary: A compilation of all the commissions and pieces of fabulous gift art that I've received and collected throughout the years. I thought that I ought to share them to everyone here in the community, since Australia art is really hard to come by! ( And here comes the motherload! )And these are just the SFW ones - I lead a sad, obsessed life, fml. Caveat: Again, I claim no credit for all of these magnificent pieces. All credits go to each individual artist mentioned above; please support them, if you can! Get a commission from them, if they're open - they're all very professional, and goddamn do they draw good stuff.
